Vine is an app created by the creators of Twitter that allows users to take videos with one scene or multiple scenes. Once the video is created it plays on a loop of 7 seconds. This week’s app of the week is called Tellagami. It was designed by Tellagami Labs Inc. and for a limited time only its download is free. Tellagami lets you create animated videos where you create a scene, customize a character, add dialogue and then you can share these videos or “gamis” via Twitter, Facebook, via text and email. App of the Week – Google Drive

Google Drive is a free app from the Google family of apps that allows to access and create files stored in the cloud with your google account information. Google drive users can have up to 15GB of free storage space. To login just use your google account information (gmail email address) and from there you can create, edit, or access files on the go. You can also access these files and collaborate from a desktop browser by going to drive.google.com. According to their website, Our Story – a free app developed by The Open University – was “developed by child psychologists and other specialists at The Open University and enables young children to take part in fun games which can help develop interests and skills that will be relevant to them when they start to read.” However, this app can also be used by higher education students as a content creation tool which allows them to tell their own stories using images saved in their own iPad.
