This Week at the CETL – 04.22.13

Well, we all made in through the SACSCOC visit intact. Not only that, by all accounts, we did pretty well. Congratulations to everyone! The end of the semester is zooming at us, but there’s still time to get some workshops in! I want to draw everyone’s attention to the SoftChalk Webinar on the calendar for Wednesday the 24th from 2-3pm at the CETL Office (West Library 114). Softchalk is a platform for producing and curating web content for your courses that makes everything pretty easy. You may also join us on Wednesday for an interesting and informative session on types of technology and how they may be used to solve common classroom problems. We also have plenty of Blackboard training available, with a session on using Blackboard in your face-to-face class […]

This Week at the CETL – 04.08.13

We do have three workshops scheduled this week, including one tomorrow on WordPress. WordPress is our platform for the new CETL website and is extraordinarily versatile, so check out the workshop to learn more. There’s also a Thursday workshop on all the tools in Microsoft Word that you or your students can use to make writing research papers easier. Addy has also worked closely with the folks at Softchalk to put together a webinar […]
