This Week at the CETL – 06.03.13

Happy summer, everyone! Based on the feedback we received during the Summer Institute, we’ve developed a full slate of summer workshops. These kick off this week with some of our most popular workshops from the summer institute – Blackboard New Features and Social Media 101. This Week at the CETL – 04.22.13

Well, we all made in through the SACSCOC visit intact. Not only that, by all accounts, we did pretty well. Congratulations to everyone! The end of the semester is zooming at us, but there’s still time to get some workshops in! I want to draw everyone’s attention to the SoftChalk Webinar on the calendar for Wednesday the 24th from 2-3pm at the CETL Office (West Library 114). Softchalk is a platform for producing and curating web content for your courses that makes everything pretty easy. We’ll be dialing in a Softchalk representative to speak with us about this powerful tool, so let us know if you can attend! And be […]

Happy Monday from the CETL! Like everyone else, our focus this week is on preparing for the SACS visit on the 15th. We’re cleaning up the office and talking about the QEP. But that’s not all! WordPress is our platform for the new CETL website and is extraordinarily versatile, so check out the workshop to learn more. There’s also a Thursday workshop on all the tools in Microsoft Word that you or your students can use to make writing research papers easier. Addy has also worked closely with the folks at Softchalk to put together a webinar […]

Click on any one of those events to register. And, as you can see, we’re planning for our CETL Summer Institute on May 15th. We’re developing a series of workshops that focus on student engagement, so mark your calendars and make plans to attend. Don’t forget to […]
